Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment midway through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden major honor of his notable career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he previously was, and would seriously consider lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
